You see a table with a couple of available positions. Which position should you occupy? That is a matter of individual preference. Is there a beautiful guy or female betting by themselves at one end of the table? Which players are using cigarettes? Which appear to be apathetic? Who appear drunk or obnoxious? Pick a position where you’ll feel the most at ease.

I like wagering on the end, right next to the dealer. On the end, I don’t have to worry about players on either side of me. I don’t prefer wagering next to the stickman because I constantly seem to get in the way of him reaching for the dice or maneuvering the stick.

After wagering for a bit, you will get a feeling for your preferred spot. You don’t have a choice when it’s filled. If you end up in a lousy location (e.g., an obnoxious player is beside you), just move to a different open spot. If the table is filled, wait until a person leaves and take their seat. Be aware of a gambler "coloring up," which is a sign that she’s departing, and inform the dealer that you would like to move into her spot. The croupier will then hold that spot and not allow a new individual to quickly take the spot. The dealer will gently request the new competitor to move to the spot that you leave. Clearly, when you switch locations, don’t forget to take your chips.

Gamblers near you can affect your feeling and complete competing experience. They can make it exciting or horrifying. You might get stuck next to a chimney like obese guy with horrid body smell, or it might be a group of heavily drinking angels busting out of their skimpy tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
