If you choose to use this scheme you must have a very large amount of money and superior fortitude to march away when you realize a tiny success. For the benefit of this story, a sample buy in of two thousand dollars is used.
The Horn Bet numbers are surely not seen as the "successful way to compete" and the horn bet itself carries a casino edge of over twelve percent.
All you are gambling is five dollars on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It doesn’t matter whether it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you bet it consistently. The Yo is more common with gamblers using this scheme for obvious reasons.
Buy in for two thousand dollars when you join the table but only put $5.00 on the passline and $1 on either the 2, 3, 11, or 12. If it wins, beautiful, if it loses press to $2. If it does not win again, press to $4 and continue on to eight dollars, then to $16 and following that add a $1.00 each subsequent wager. Each time you do not win, bet the last value plus one more dollar.
Using this approach, if for example after fifteen tosses, the number you bet on (11) hasn’t been thrown, you surely should go away. However, this is what might happen.
On the 10th toss, you have a sum total of one hundred and twenty six dollars in the game and the YO finally hits, you earn three hundred and fifteen dollars with a take of one hundred and eighty nine dollars. Now is a good time to march away as it’s a lot more than what you entered the game with.
If the YO does not hit until the twentieth roll, you will have a complete investment of $391 and because your current bet is at $31, you gain $465 with your profit being $74.
As you can see, using this scheme with just a one dollar "press," your profit margin becomes smaller the longer you wager on without attaining a win. That is why you should step away after a win or you have to bet a "full press" once more and then continue on with the $1.00 mark up with each toss.
Crunch the data at home before you attempt this so you are very accomplished at when this system becomes a non-winning affair rather than a profitable one.
