Over your craps-gambling life, you’ll likely experience more losing sessions than winners. Accept it. You need to learn to play in reality, not fantasy land. Craps is designed for the gambler to lose.
Suppose, following two hours, the bones have whittled your chips leaving only twenty dollars. You haven’t noticed a hot roll in aeon. Although not winning is just as much a part of the casino game as profiting, you can’t help but feel awful. You wonder why you ever bothered coming to Vegas in the 1st place. You attempted to be a fortress for a few hours, but it didn’t succeed. You are wanting to win so acutely that you give up control of your clear thinking. You’re at your last $20 for the day and you contain little backbone remaining. Leave with your twenty dollars!
You can never capitulate, never ever surrender, never think, "This blows, I am going to place the remainder on the Hard 4 and, if I lose, then I’ll call it quits. Although if I win, I’ll be even for the session." That is the dumbest thing you can do at the conclusion of a non-winning day.
If you insist on giving your money up, for heaven’s sake give it to your favorite charity. Don’t award it to the gambling den. Occasionally, you’ll succeed on a single one of those idiotic wagers, but don’t dream you’ll win enough over time to even out your squanderings.
